Donation of the cytoplasm by the method of pronuclear transfer is a unique approach to the treatment of infertility: it brings hope to give birth to a genetically own child to couples to whom reproductive medicine could previously offer only donor eggs.
First time in the world, thanks to the specialists of the Nadiya clinic, the child, after pronuclear transfer, was born in Ukraine in January 2017.

The essence of this method

The essence of method consists in the fact that the nucleus of the patient and her husband are extracted from the first day’s embryo-zygote and transferred into a donor zygote, from which the nucleus was previously removed.

As a result of this manipulation, we receive a “reconstructed” zygote that has nuclear DNA from the mother and father (over 20,000 genes) and cytoplasmic DNA from the mother and donor (13 genes).

Indications for using this method:

  • Mitochondrial diseases
  • Preimplantation embryonic lethality – a recurring condition in which embryos do not reach the blastocyst stage (day 5 of development), or the quality of embryos on day 5 is unacceptable for carrying out the transfer;
  • Absence of pregnancy after multiple transfers of euploid (genetically healthy) embryos (taking into account the absence of endometrial factor infertility).

Age and other characteristics of couples (women) for a pronuclear transfer:

  • Woman age ≤ 37 years;
  • The absence of male factor infertility;
  • Good ovarian reserve;
  • No less than three zygotes (embryos of the first day) after the fertilization.
We provide you with DNA test to show presence of both parents’ genes.
